I've been following Ryan Brenizer's website for a few years now and tried my hand at the Brenizer technique. Essentially getting lots of photos and stitching together to create really dramatic depth of field images. I tried one yesterday with the NEX and 58mm f1.4. Long story short, failed. I think because the APS-C sensor inside the NEX is too small to accentuate the depth of field that can be seen on full frame cameras. Oh well, first try..
Next time i'll move closer to exaggerate the depth of field and do more stitches..
Brenizer attempt #1. 35 image stitch, Sony NEX 5n, Minolta 58mm, 1/250th, 400iso @f1.4
