Went on a mountain trek the other day with my aunty and her 3 dogs. Was a great walk if i must say so myself. Probably one of the highlights of my trip here. The day was fairly cold, and the clouds were low in the mountains creating some beautiful scenery. However i spent most of my time taking photos of dogs and forgot to really shoot the scenery.. must go back and take some more photos.
The rocky terrain made a great play ground for the dogs who ran around exploring, as did i.
'Saucy' the sausage dog got stuck on a rock and couldn't come down. we had to carry him down.
which actually wasn't that far down.
Drink break for the dogs and aunty.
Gotta love the 70-200 f2.8 VR. Spent a lot of the day taking photos of the dogs. look so happy..
Saw a pretty flower as well.
Really wished i had of taken more photos of the scenery. This gives a sense of how high we were.. amazing view. amazing place.

Woofer and Barney playing
At the top of the mountain is a transmission station, ashame it was overcast again.. skies are all blown out.. dislike..
A little bit of a view from the top. Those little specks in the top right is a suburb in the distance. The place is full of mountains and made really quite a splendid view.
Barney at the top with me.
RAH up the top, or near the top.. and i did a bit of a pose. All the dogs have accompanied me.
time to head back down the trail we came up on.
Barney ate something and felt sick.. he threw up after i took this photo. but was back to his normal self soon after.
everyone loves a bit of attention, some more than others. Saucy and Woofer love it, Barney likes to do his own thing.
Thats enough photos from this adventure. I should've taken more but.. next time. i'll be sure to blog some more soon when i have time. enjoy yourselves..
Changas.
